diary of an artist:pandemic 2020

My diary suddenly became a book full of 'cancelled' when the Corona virus spread and countries went on lockdown. So I decided to make a new diary.
I have made these uniques pieces available as part of the #artistsupportpledge, which is a brilliant initiative of the artist Matthew Burrows, set up to help support artists who are suddenly without work and unable to exhibit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The concept is a simple one: artists post images of their work to sell for no more than €200 each. Anyone can then buy the work. Every time an artist reaches €1000 of sales they pledge to buy another artist’s work for €200.

masks with personalities

Masks are worn to transform a person in to another character or spirit, hiding the person behind the mask. This series aims to reverse this process and explore the personality of the mask itself. Rather than a mask transforming someone into someone or something else, I am transforming the mask into someone else.

our world

How do people view the world they live in? That is my inspiration for this series.
